Dr. Gillett enjoys providing holistic individualized care to his patients. His practice includes preventative medicine, aesthetics, sports medicine, hormone optimization, obstetrics and infertility, integrative medicine, and precision medicine including genomics. He believes that each human is a unique creation that requires attention to their body, mind, and soul to achieve optimal health. He enjoys caring for others using shared decision-making and an evidence-based, patient-centered approach. He is active in Obesity Medicine organizations and firmly believes “food is medicine” and “exercise is medicine”. Dr. Gillett describes the “6 pillars of health”: exercise, diet, sleep, stress, sunlight, and spirit. These are more powerful than any medication or supplement. He enjoys spending time outdoors on the farm with his wife, two sons, and two wolfhounds.

James O’Hara is a nurse practitioner. He spent the majority of his nursing career working in cardiology and directly witnessed the consequences of a lack of preventive medicine. This experience inspired him to continue his education and become part of the solution. James feels it is important to inspire hope in each patient while providing them with the education and tools they need to take control of their health. He utilizes an integrative approach to practicing medicine which combines lifestyle interventions, appropriate supplementation, and smart prescribing when indicated to empower patients to feel better and live longer, healthier lives.

Dr. Tom Egan underwent a life-changing experience which led him to pursue a career as a physician. He spent the beginning of his medical career in the ER. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Gillett Health, and is altruistically passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health and longevity. Married to his lovely wife, he is a father of four, and wrangler of two lovable unruly wolf dogs.

Dr. Martin is a preventive medicine physician interested in improving population health by rethinking how healthcare is accessed and delivered. He practices primary care and individualized medicine with a focus on lifestyle related interventions and obesity medicine. He believes patients should have access to all the tools available in order to provide the most comprehensive health and prevention strategy, such as utilizing remote patient monitoring and predictive analytics. Dr. Martin went to medical school at AT Still University in Chicago, did his internship at Bassett Health System in New York, and did his preventive medicine training at Johns Hopkins Health System in Maryland. He currently lives in California and enjoys surfing, riding bike and hiking with his dog.

Amanda is a family nurse practitioner with a passion for root cause individualized holistic medicine. She has 15 years of experience in primary care and functional medicine, where she combines her conventional Western medical training with an integrative approach. She is devoted to changing the delivery of healthcare by launching a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice and wants patients and other healthcare providers to know there is another way to approach health outside of an insurance based sick care model. Amanda specializes in healing the gut (because everything starts in the gut!) and treating thyroid dysfunction. She is in the process of healing many years of dysfunction in her own body and is easy to relate with because she understands the struggles many go through in completely overhauling their lifestyle to achieve their highest expression of health. Amanda is dedicated to being a life long learner and as she studies and learns more about healing the mind, body and spirit, she approaches the study of medicine with this motto: “when you know better, do better”. Amanda is engaged to Kevin, and together they are raising two strong and powerful women, along with giving endless snuggles to their golden retriever, Louie. Amanda would be honored to be a part of your healing journey!

After years of job hopping, I accidentally fell (my husband gave me a little push) into group fitness and I loved it. I became a personal trainer because I wanted to help more people get fit. Since 2019, I have changed people’s lives through strength training, corrective exercise, nutrition coaching, and behavior change. I use exercise to relieve pain, improve quality of life, and reduce stress. I use behavior change to create healthy habits around food, sleep, and training. I’m here to listen to you. As your coach, I am going to assist you on your fitness journey. So if you are ready to achieve your goals, I’m ready to help!
